Petastic is built on the Anymal Protocol, a secure data foundation designed for animals. Anymal helps keep your pet’s records safe, verifiable, and portable.

• Safe: protected with modern security practices.
• Trusted: records can be verified whether added by you, your vet, or a shelter you approve.
• Portable: you can share your pet’s information with services and professionals you choose.

You own your pet’s data. Petastic and Anymal do not sell your personal information or your pet’s records. You decide when and how to share them.

3. Data We Collect

Information you provide

• Account data: name, contact details, and preferences when you create an account.
• Pet data: name, species, breed, age, photos, health history, vaccination records, behavior notes, milestones.
• Connections: information you choose to import from vets, shelters, breeders, or partners you connect.
• Support communications: messages you send to us, feedback, and survey responses.

Information we collect automatically

• Usage data: app and site interactions that help us improve features and performance.
• Device and log data: device type, browser, language, time zone, IP address, crash logs.
• Consent logs: records of permissions you grant or revoke.

Information from partners

With your permission, we may receive records from your vet, shelter, breeder, or other services you connect. You can manage these connections at any time.

4. How We Use Data

• To create and maintain your pet’s Pet Passport.
• To provide personalized guidance with pet care specific AI features.
• To deliver Infinite Rewards for actions you take.
• To connect you with vets, shelters, and services you approve.
• To operate, maintain, and improve Petastic, including analytics, debugging, and security.
• To communicate with you about updates, new features, and policy changes. You can opt out of marketing emails.
• To comply with legal obligations and enforce our terms.

5. Sharing and Disclosure

We do not sell your personal information or your pet’s records.

• With your consent: when you choose to share with a vet, shelter, breeder, or other service.
• Service providers: trusted vendors that help us run Petastic, such as hosting, storage, and analytics. They are bound by confidentiality and only use data as instructed.
• Legal: to comply with law, legal process, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of users and the public.
• Business changes: if we undergo a merger, acquisition, or asset transfer, we will inform you and honor existing privacy commitments.

6. Your Control and Choices

• Access and portability: download your data from account settings or by contacting us.
• Edit and delete: update profile and pet details at any time. You can request deletion of your account and records.
• Connections: manage which partners can view or add to your pet’s records.
• Communications: opt out of marketing emails while still receiving important service messages.
• Retention: we keep data while your account is active. If you stop using Petastic, we may retain data for a reasonable period unless you delete it sooner.

We apply industry standard safeguards to protect data in transit and at rest. This includes encryption, access controls, monitoring, and regular reviews. No system is perfectly secure. We work continuously to improve protections.
